yes. AC21 is a provision to allow you to change employers without affecting ur 485. It has nothing to do with work authorization. Your authorization can come from ead or h1 transfer.

Its not a problem. As long as your I-485 is applied and pending , you can apply any time.

Dear IV Members,
Last week I received a copy of Approved I-140 using Freedom of Information Act. I took almost 7 months to get requested information. Following are the steps to use FOIA:
1. Write a cover letter (Sample attached)
2. Complete Form G-639 (Sample form Freedom of Information Act - G-639 - Form.pdf attached)
3. Write your I-140 Receipt # in Column 4.
4. Important: Make sure you complete Column 7 or you will be asked to send you application again.
5. For Column 8 you can sign it yourself under Executed in US (No need to use Notary)
6. Send this form to:
USCIS National Record Center
FOIA Division
P.O. Box 648010
Lee Summit, MO 64064-5570
I received copy of approved I-140 last week (Copy of 1st page is attached). You can check status of FOIA request at FOIA Request Status Check (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.8d416137d08f80a2b1935610748191a0/?vgnextoid=f3a2ba87c7a29110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCR D&vgnextchannel=f3a2ba87c7a29110VgnVCM1000004718190a RCRD).
I hope above information will be useful for others who want to use FOIA.

Funny answer to a funny question ha ha :D
I hope you know how to search for info in Google. Just search it and do your basic research and then you can come back and ask question.
Then the answers here would make a lot more sense.

It would be not hard to make an IV facebook application that contains
- an install page,
- a page where our core issues can be listed and members can express support for each issue
- a page where running issues can be listed and members can sign petitions online (see capital fraternal caucus app as they push their greek related issues via Patton Boggs in Washington)
- and optionally a facebook bolstered discussion board.
The newsfeed feature/invite friends should help viral spread of the app.
A member suggested that it maybe a good idea to have IV presence on facebook. This will help increase our publicity among our friends whom we can recommend to join. Our aim is to get as much publicity and membership at this time so that we can succeed in our upcoming campaigns.
We have a group called 'Immigration Voice' on Facebook now started by IV core.
Could you now help us increase the publicity of IV on facebook among your friends so that we get more participation on IV site
Someone who knows facebook well, pls post ideas how we can use it best to our advantage.

Finally after numerous logins at USCIS, I saw today..Request for additional Evidence sent
on my I140..I only happen to see when some other guy with Eb3 Pd2005 and Rd of August 15 got his I 140approval...
so I logged in to see ..I too have LUD
I wonder what it may be because I had sent all my W2s since my PD of 2001..
My friend from my company had also received RFE for TAX papers last year. She sent it and was approved..
Hopefully I am too..because I never changed jobs working for the last 8 years....and had prior necessary experience before joining my current job...plus 1 year in current job

Can we go after State dept to have them make an administrative fix to publish 2 sets of Visa dates, one for Visa posts and one for USCIS. CIS Dates to reflect their processing length and allow for an early AOS application..
Just thought.. Suggestions are welcome.
Visa Bulletin for AOS and CP are two different HTML pages already :D. Your idea will not fly. BTW, Update your IV tracker

I am a UK citizen brought up in India. I am in US now working on H1-B. Since I plan to return to India after few years for good, I decided to apply for OCI(overseas citizens of India)/dual citizenship of India.
I will have to apply for green card after few years to maintain my employee status here in USA.
Now, the question is, will I get privilege if I am UK citizen compared to dual citizen of India when I apply for US green card?
If I get any privilege(like quicker processing time, etc) I will just get a visitor's visa/PIO card of India for now.
Please advice. I am really confused. Thank you.

You can get quite far using just Blend, but you probably want to use Visual Studio for the coding and debugging features that Blend doesn't have.
Here is a video that I recorded a while ago that highlights this workflow between Blend and VS: http://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/SilverlightTV/Silverlight-TV-45-Building-a-Bing-Web-and-Image-Search-App-for-Windows-Phone-7-Using-Blend-and-Silve

I received an email from my lawyer on 26th June 2007 that they have received my approved labor certification in mail today. I got my medical examination i.e. form I-693 performed on June 23rd 2007 and received the results on June 25th 2007. I have already filed my I-485. Will it be a problem since I have got my medical test done a few days before receiving my labor certification.

You will say 'YES' for yourself and 'NO' for your dependents. Immigration petition is nothing but I-140, if any of your family members have filed I-140 then answer would be 'YES'

Fuji's $22,000 medium format digital back. About $1,000 per megapixel. Click Here (http://www.fujifilm.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/PREventDetailPage.jsp?DBID=NEWS_547213&CAT_ID=-1007).
That, of course, is without the body and lenses necessary to make it fully functional. I'd rather just get a 10D with a few good lenses and a nice used vehicle (not car, probably SUV, so I can haul around the 10D, my current film SLR, lenses, tripods, other camera accessories... and don't forget that 4x5 view camera). ;)

The American Immigration Policy Center issued an excellent Fact Sheet about H2A farm orkers and the need for reform.
The Agricultural Job Opportunities, Benefits, and Security (AgJOBS) Act has long served as a blueprint for comprehensive immigration reform. AgJOBS, which combines an earned legalization program for farmworkers with a reform of the H-2A temporary foreign agricultural worker program demonstrates a successful model for compromise where workers and employers have come together to resolve their differences. The dysfunctional U.S. immigration system is currently standing in the way of addressing deeper structural problems that impact U.S. workers and U.S. competitiveness in a globalized market. As Congress proceeds, here are a few facts about the current challenges at the intersection of immigration policy and agriculture, and why addressing these issues is critical to the nations economy.
Here is an interesting fact :Most farmworkers are not authorized to work legally in the U.S.
According to the National Agricultural Workers Survey (NAWS), conducted biannually by the Department of Labor, the share of seasonal agricultural workers who reported that they were unauthorized has increased dramatically in the last two decades, rising from 7% in Fiscal Year (FY) 1989, to 16% in FY 1990-91, to 28% in FY 1992-93. In the most recently published NAWS survey from FY 2001-02, 53% of all seasonal agricultural workers admitted they were not authorized to work in the U.S. However, many experts suggest that the number may actually be closer to 75%.
