I learned somewhere that extreme closup macro (2:1) shots can be taken by mating another lens in reverse to the front of the lens mounted to the camera. Does anyone have any idea what makes a good combination of lenses and what is needed?
I have an old canon 52mm manual focus lens that is in great shape.

If you "extension of status" is denied, you can "re-enter" only with a new visa stamping on your passport. Same applies for family.
USCIS most probably will issue RFEs if the exact dates of out of status is not clear. And eventually if it become obvious of 4 months of out of status, I think mostly your extension of status will be denied. Only exceptional situations / explanations can get an extension of status / change of status approved even with 4 months of out of status.
At this point, I suggest you plan for the return to home country (even if it is temporary), and if you can secure an offer, file for H1 and wait for its approval in your home country. I know it is painful, but please do plan for it, to make it less painful.
Staying out of status too long will even affect your next entry. And I think 4 months is long. But it is your choice.

After I joined �B� company, I never went out of USA. �B� Company�s name is not reflected in my H1B visa (in passport). Only I have the copy of I129 with �B� company�s name. Now, I am no more with �B� company.
1. What is the process of re-enter to USA ? I mean, what type of documents I need to show to Immigration Dept ?
3. My families also need to re-enter to USA at the same time ?

It is really irritating to read 'i' & mba not getting capitalized, I'm typed as im, etc. Type slowly and capitalize where needed. You may be in a hurry but you are irritating potential helping people.

1) You received a query (right word is RFE, start using the right word RFE) and H1-B approval in Aug.
2) Now you (three months later) are in a hurry to understand if the H1-B is approved or not.
Is that right?
For H1-B approval you must already have a job offer from an employer even before H1-B is filed. You can not want to get a job on H1-B after approval.
Try to narrate the story step by step (and type slowly and correctly). Some one will help you.

We all know that we are able to file 485 on July and we got EAD due to IV efforts. Which in turn helping us to get a 600$ rebate for the spouse (Some plan to spend the money).. Can we make a pledge here that we will contribute a certain % to our organization? The % can be your choice. How did you find what job code your labor was applied for?
I did check, job code is 13-1111.00. the two titles used in labor cert are principal management consultant -system analysis - this is primary
and system analysis - mentioned in related occupation
the approval job code is 13-1111.00 - the new title i am getting is system analyst.
also i just have 1 page of approval for ETA750. are there more than one pages in this application and if so I should have all the pages...

Hi,

1) approved RIR labor 2002
2) approved perm labor 2005
3) approved i-140 2006 (PD 2005)
4) ALL of above for company-A. 2006 company-B took over.
My lawyer said i cannot file and have to start again with new labor as merger/acquistion was 'asset only' type.
I want to self-file i-485 giving the company "name change" letter as the only proof along with the rest of regular documents. Company-B employer is in 100% support of my application.
SHOULD I just waste $$$$ money or take a chance ? PLEASE HELP...TIRED OF WAITING FOR LAST 5 years :(

I have few questions regarding the visa and green card process.
1. Which documents are required to convert H1 to H4 while being in USA?
2. As per my understanding if I convert to H4, I can use my H1 at a later point of time. Is it true? What are the preconditions for this?
3. What happens to my green card process if I convert to H4? I have my I-140 approved.
4. Assuming that my understanding in point-2 is correct what is the process to convert back to H1?

The highlighted statement doesn't seem to be correct. You can have more than one employer file an H-1B petiton for you.
Until the time you left your university employer, you were in status with the original H-1B (cap exempt).
Now, you need to either get the job back at the university, or ask the consultant outfit (A) to employ you.
